About us

Hello, I am Grace, a tour guide and a handmade designer.

I have lived in Chiba city for more than 15 years. Chiba City is a 40-minute train ride from Tokyo Station and 40 minutes from the international airport. Chiba city is one of the interesting place in Japan. That's where I'm guiding.

I also make table runners and placemats with kimono obi. Japanese kimono are carefully woven or embroidered with silk threads. The obi itself is a work of art with beautiful patterns and stunning color combinations. Place it on your table for a gorgeous accent in your room!

Kimono is a traditional Japanese costume. I started selling runners and cushion covers in the hope of bringing the charm of kimono to you and making it easy for you to enjoy it in your daily life.

Japanese kimono are carefully woven or embroidered with silk threads. The obi itself is a work of art with beautiful patterns and stunning color combinations!

There are appropriate types of kimonos depending on the season and the place where they are worn. The patterns of kimono also have various meanings and wishes that are contained in the patterns.

In the past, kimonos were worn as everyday clothes, but some types of kimonos were also important assets. Therefore, women were married with several kimonos.

Due to the influence of Western culture, kimonos have gradually become less common and are now only worn for Shichi-Go-San, coming-of-age ceremonies, and weddings. Kimonos that people no longer have the opportunity to wear still lie in closets, waiting to be used again.

I remake such kimonos and make Runners and Cushion Covers. Kimono obis are magnificent, beautiful and fascinating to look at.

Place it on your table for a gorgeous accent in your room!It is the one and only handmade product in the world, so it can be a gift for your loved ones.
